Canine Wellness and Massage Clinic
Join April Begosh, owner of Healthy Pets NH, as she leads us in a Canine Wellness and Massage Clinic. Great class for pet owners, pet sitters, or anyone looking to expand their knowledge on pet care. This 4 hour course is designed to benefit both you and your pet! As with human massage, Wellness Massage for Pets positively affects every system of their body while promoting a strong bond between owner and pet. Through a combination of lecture, demo and hands-on practice, you will learn how to safely perform a whole body wellness massage on your pet.
Saturday Oct 14th, from 9:00 am till 1:00 pm
Location: Maple Street School
Cost is $ 50, Well behaved dogs only are invited to attend

Proceeds go towards The Interact Club’s trip to Nicaragua this year. They will also accept donations of cleats, balls of any sport, and baseball mitts to be taken down to Nicaragua during their 2018 mission trip. If any winter ski item of yours did not sell, it can be donated to Interact to sell at future winter sports sales.

Pet CPR and First Aid Course
Join April Begosh, owner of Healthy Pets NH, as she leads us in a Pet CPR and First Aid Course. Great class for pet owners and pet professionals who want to know how to provide basic emergency and first aid care for their pet prior to veterinary care. This is a 6 hour course that will provide you with a 2 year certificate. Class will cover: restraining your pet, pet CPR, rescue breathing, choking management, wellness assessment, heat injuries, poisoning, bleeding protocols, bites & stings, seizures, and injury assessment.

@ Slusser Center, cost is $75
This is an instructional class, your pets stay at home.
Just bring a lunch. Refreshments will be available for purchase/donation.

Halloween Holler & “Howler”
This year the Halloween Holler will have a fun addition- the Halloween "Howler" dog parade!
October 28th at Harold Martin School

Kid's Costume Parade –
Gathering at 10:30 am in the HMS Parking Lot.
Parade starts at 11 am and crosses over Main Street down to Cracker Barrel and back to school. Thank you Hopkinton Police Dept. for your help!!
Immediately following the parade at the HMS gym/playground- games, crafts, s'mores over the fire and food for sale by the PTA too! Bring your camera for the photo-op area!
Dog Costume Parade-
Gathering, donning costumes and registering for your parade entry number at 10:15 am at Kimball Lake Cabins.
Provide your own costumes and please remember to keep all dogs leashed.
We will be walking in a group to Harold Martin School, and then the dog parade will follow behind the kid's parade! After that we reconvene at Kimball Cabins.
Kids will have a chance to vote on the best dog costume and the top dogs will win a prize!
This is a FREE event brought to you by the Hopkinton Recreation Dept.
