Many of you know  Gene Connolly, the retired Principal at Concord High School who is living with ALS. In fact, his wife Patty is a P.E. teacher at Hopkinton Middle High School. The cost of daily nursing for Gene has become burdensome and so we are asking that you consider donating to their family to help with these expenses. Cold and flu season is upon us! Please encourage your student to wash their hands and sanitize frequently and stay hydrated during the day. If your student has a cell phone and reaches out to you during the school day, or wants to use the classroom phone, please encourage them to go to the Health Office in each building. For those not familiar with this program, Reaching for the Stars is a volunteer run after-school enrichment program offered to Harold Martin students (kindergarten thru 3rd grade). For children who are below grade 3, bus drivers need to have eyes on a responsible adult in order to let them off the bus. An exception to this is that these youngsters can leave with older siblings without an adult present.This point above requires parents/guardians of students below third grade to be ready to make eye contact with the driver when the bus arrives.
