Story Time and Lap Time

There are so many reasons to bring your child to the library! Instill a love of books, meet new friends, and have FUN! 

Story Time is for children ages 3-5 and Lap Time is for children birth to 2 years with a caregiver.

Story Times are held on Tuesdays at 1 PM and Wednesdays at 10:30 AM. Lap Time is on Fridays at 10:30 AM.

 

Tuesday Evening Drop In Programs/Pokemon/Dino Snores/MORE!

Calling all kids! Tuesday evening at the library is a time for FUN! Drop in to the following programs:

9/5 Coloring, 9/12 Pokemon, 9/19 Dino Snores (an evening Story Time),9/26 Ladybug Craft

Programs Run From 5-7 PM/Dino Snores 6 PM

 

Touch-A-Truck

Tractor Rides! Police! Fire! and Highway Department Vehicles! Food for Purchase!

Come see and touch the cool vehicles! Friday, September 8th from 5:30-7 PM

 

Paws to Read

Take some time to read with one (or both!) of our friendly licensed therapy dogs.

Dougal will be here on Thursday, the 14th from 5-6 PM, and Saturday the 16th from 10-11 AM.

Emma will be here on Thursday the 21st from 4-5 PM and Saturday the 23rd from 10-11 AM. 

Sign up for 15 minutes of reading time.

 

Scavenger Hunt

Start the school year with an ABC hunt!

All 26 letters are hidden throughout the library.

Have fun finding them and choose a prize when you’ve found them all!

 

MakerSpace

This month, there are wooden interlocking pieces handmade in Vermont.

They can be used to make a variety of shapes.

Create at the library!

 

StoryWalk®

Sunflower Houses by Eve Bunting is on the trail this fall. Read and enjoy!

The StoryWalk® is located behind the playground and Slusser Center.

 

 

All programs are free and open to the public.

Registration requirements are noted where they apply.
